Reiki

Reiki is Japanese for Universal vital life force energy. This is the energy that surrounds us all day everyday. It is the very thing that keeps us alive it keeps your heart beating.

Every thought word and deed is energy. As humans we tend to hold on to things. Best advice “Let it go”! But we don’t! When we hold on to things we are stopping the natural flow. When someone’s life force energy is depleted they are more likely to feel unwell or feel stressed and unable to cope with day to day life. When we are “in the flow” we are more likely to be happy healthy and able to cope with life.

The Reiki Practitioner or Master is able to harness this pure energy and magnify the effect through to their hands into you. The hands are place on or over you if you prefer. The therapist will be concentrating on the areas near each “Chakra”, (see chakra section) all you have to do is relax and be open to receive the Reiki. Usually the first sign of Reiki working on your system is that you will feel relaxed and more at peace. Also great nights sleep straight after a treatment. Every treatment is different, some feel tingly sensations, heat, coolness, you may be aware or colors. Reiki is a great treatment to work with other therapies or medications. Reiki can never harm. Reiki increases the body’s own healing abilities.
